Pubfall '26 - here's the plan...

Well folks, it's been a long few months, but we've just got back from Pub2Pub's last two tours of 2026 - Sandstorm, and the Trafalgar Tour. And so, it's now time to get on it with organising Pubfall, our traditional end-of-year get together.

This year's event will be a bit different to our previous get-togethers. Firstly, it's taking place on the last weekend in November, rather than the last weekend in October, as for previous Pubfalls. This is purely because we've been so busy with our autumn tours, we ran out of time to organise it over the usual weekend, hence the change - Pubfall '26 will be taking place on the 27th to 29th November.

But it's the next change which is the most exciting one. For the last two years, we've headed up to Scotland for Pubfall. This year, however, it'll be taking place in mid Wales. Llandrindod Wells, to be exact.

Pubfall '26 will be taking place in the Metropole Hotel & Spa, a fine, four-star hotel located in the town. The event will kick off on the Friday evening, when we arrive and tuck into dinner in the hotel's restaurant, before catching up with fellow P2Pers over a few drinks. But hopefully not too many drinks, as outside, the fine driving roads of mid Wales await.

After breakfast on Saturday, we'll be heading out for a scenic drive, taking in the Elan Valley and some of the other fine driving roads in the area. However, if you'd prefer a lazier day, there will also be some other options for how to spend the day, from heading to the coast for a stroll, to enjoying the hotel's spa facilities. But whatever you do, you'll want to be back at the hotel in good time, as on the Saturday evening we'll be all suited and booted, and tucking into a formal three course dinner in the finest Pubfall tradition.

Sunday will hopefully start bright and promising, and after breakfast you'll have the choice of enjoying further frolics in the Welsh countryside, or heading home. So, the template is pretty similar to previous pubfalls, it's just set in Wales this time.

So, what's the price of this last Pub2Pub get together of the year? £330 for two people sharing a double or twin room, or £230 for single occupancy. This includes the room, breakfasts, dinner in the restaurant on the Friday, our formal meal on the Saturday, and access to the hotel's spa. So, this year's Pubfall is pretty good value, all things considered.
